UFC free fight video: Stipe Miocic battles Joey Beltran in his Octagon debut

Esther Lin, MMA Fighting Long before he was the UFC heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic was an undefeated prospect from Ohio who was looking to make an impact in his Octagon debut.
With a 6-0 record and all of his fights ending by knockout or TKO, Miocic had a lot of eyeballs on him after joining the UFC roster but the promotion didn’t give him an easy opponent for his first test.
Miocic faced off with battle-hardened veteran Joey Beltran, who was already 18 fights into his career with five trips walking down the aisle in the UFC.
