Lost my Job...any electricians hiring?

Damn the bad luck.I lost my job because I took a leave of absence to correct my marital problems...now what.anyone in south tecas area hirirng Im also an IBEW member but class b.Ive got to talk to a union rep.

damn rights if your in the union i believe they can't just fire you for a leave of absence thats bullcrap

I think they can because I had a habit of calling in.but part of my marital problems were due to my drug addiction.I was addicted to hydrocodone and I would go through withdrawls.so I went to a therapist and counseler and doc to slowly ween myself clean.so I kept calling in for a week because Iwas waiting for my doc to give me paperwork reccomending a leave of abscence to recover.I just got the paper work,but they called me over the phone and terminated me before I could bring the paperwork.Im wondering if I have a case.My addiction was due to a presciption happy doctor.

well being of dope is more important than working. if your on dope you cant work properly anyways. now that your clean, get a fresh start. you'll find another job. im outta work right now to. im not sweatin it though, i'll find something.
