Anavar & HPTA

Any of you guys know if Anavar effects your HPTA? I'm thinking about taking anavar for 4 weeks post cycle to help keep gains if it does not have any negative effect on the HPTA. I found this excerpt and wanted to corfim it:

The third reason which speaks well for an intake of Oxandrolone is that even in a very high dosage this compound does not influ-ence the body's own testosterone production. To make this clear: Oxandrolone does not suppress the body's own hormone pro-duction. The reason is that it does not have a negative feedback mechanism on the hypothalamohypophysial testicular axis, meaning that during the intake of Oxandrolone, unlike during the intake of most anabolic steroids, the testes signal the hypo-thalamus not to reduce or to stop the release of GnRH (gonadot-ropin releasing hormone) and LHRH Luteinizing hormon releas-ing hormone). This special feature of Oxandrolone can be explained by the fact that the substance is not converted into estrogen Oxandrolone (Anavar), when given to normal men in high doses does not reduce the seminal volume or count, nor can it be converted (aromatized) into estrogen.

i saw a study where i think 30mg did suppress the hpta a decent amount.

but everyone is diff and taking it in the morning only would prob help lessen the effect, just keep the dose low.

I read the opposite. Of course, with scientific studies you get alot of conflicting BS but var is reputed to have very little effect on the HPTA

This study shows that, at a dosage of 15mg/day, by day 5 serum (natural) T levels were substantially reduced:

So, that quote you mentioned is old school thought. My opinion, if anyone cares, is that I'm strongly against bridging with anything at all, I think it's best to come completely off for as long as possible to let your body return to normal functions. Bridging is a crutch, and a sign of dependence/addiction. Not to mention, your next cycle will be much better if you don't bridge at all. But this is just my opinion and many disagree.

I've seen an abstract where 2.5mg suppressed HPTA to a certain level.

I don't usually bridge what I like to do is finish all my cycles with anavar. It's easier to bounce back from than other AS.

All AS suppress the HPTA, but some drugs are much harder to bounce back from( Fina and Deca come to mind). Test isn't so bad and anavar is the easiest to come off of.
