The 2022 Iceland’s Strongest Man (ISM) contest took place from Aug. 6-7, 2022, in Reykjavík, Iceland. The results of elite strongman contests throughout 2022 in Iceland feature the same headline: 24-year-old Kristján Jón Haraldsson is the champion.
The two-day competition featured six strongmen battle across seven events: a Truck Pull, a Max Deadlift, a Front Hold, a Weight Toss, a Super Yoke, Overhead Press, and the Natural Stones. Haraldsson won four of those seven events to take the overall win by a three-point margin over Stefán Karel Torfason. Here are the full results:

According to Strongman Archives, the 2022 ISM contest was Haraldsson’s eighth professional strongman contest. It marked his second professional victory; the first came in 2022 at the 2022 Strongest Man in Iceland contest on June 11-12, 2022.

The Natural Stones event challenged athletes to lift various heavy and oddly shaped stones from the floor to a single platform. The stones were placed around the platform, and each athlete moved from stone to stone attempting to load as many as possible.
