Effects of MK-677:
1. Increase GHRH release.
2. GHRH signal was amplified in growth hormone of anterior pituitary wall.
3. Reduce somatostatin release (somatostatin closes GH release).
4. Suitable for bridging without inhibiting hormone secretion.
