Please help! My wife and I have decided to have a baby. The problem is over the last few years I have been on cycle and I am worried about the chances. Can you guys help. Thanks. I have read that Test lowers your sperm count and almost makes you unable to on cycle.

I know of a guy or two that has gotten someone pregnant while on, but it can't hurt to get your sperm count checked.

does cycle use increase chances of any kind of birth defects

Supposedly Deca is one of the worst for shutting down swimmer production. I went through three deca cycles, along with test, over an eighteen month period. Did my proper PCT 2 months later my wife was pregnant with our first. 17 months after that she was pregnant with our second 10 months after that she was pregnant with our third (now we are taking a break). The moral of this story is don't worry bro. As long as you have educated yourself and are cycling properly the swimmer production will come back.

Thank s guys for input my wife is like ( I realy dont want you on tell it happens) And I can understand because I have read that test can lower your sperm count. Can sombody chime in on some info. Thanks

no, a buddy of mine did a lot of drugs in his younger days and asked his doctor about it, the doctor told him that the drugs will not change your DNA structure...it might effect your sperm count but not the DNA code

Yes AAS will lower your sperm count and could cause a lot of other things to prevent you from getting your wife pregnant. You can definitely avert these things from happening by properly cycling on and off and using your ancillaries, things like Saw Palmetto and ALA help you bounce back as well as the use of IGF. Overall the best thing for you is to make sure you're in a good place as soon as possible because the sooner you correct anything that could be wrong the better your chances.

I went to the Doc a few years ago and he discovered I had varicosceles in my testes. I later found out that they can be caused by your testes repeatedly getting bigger and smaller from AAS use. Basically what happens is once you have them in your testes they cause more blood to pool there and since the more blood you have in your testes the warmer they become the heat lowers your sperm count. This is why your balls are outside your body to begin with to keep them a little cooler and from getting too hot.

The long and short of it is to get checked out ASAP to make sure your count is OK. Mine was 17 parts per million and you have to have 20 million to be considered fertile. Doc said I could get my wife pregnant but it would be extremely difficult and not likely. I had surgery to correct it a few years ago and once we started trying to conceive it only took about 6 months and we now have a beautiful baby girl that thanfully looks like her Mom!

Thanks for all the help. I will go see the doc and get my count checked. Man it would be great to use a little test and still have the baby. Man I realy feel like shit. Thanks guys.
