    Default Dehydration and Insulin Sensitivity

This study found that subjects who were dehydrated at 2.5- and 5% of their bodyweights had higher insulin levels following exercise. Dehydration can reduce insulin sensitivity which can impair muscle growth and overall gains. Drink 16oz of water before and after your workout and shoot for at least 2-3 liters of water per day to optimize hydration levels.

i drink a lot of fluids throughout the day. i don't feel dehydrated, but do you count your water consumption with water in drinks. ie. low sugar coolaid, h2o in protein drinks, oj, grapefruit juice. i stay away from sodas most of the time.
just wondered if these things were also calculated in with the water, or do you all count h2o separately. i know if i did, i'd be sloshing around all the time, and spend most of my day going pee. lol.

Not sure if they were counting water or water in different drinks but I hear you. Drink all the water and pee all the time. But I do believe that the majority of people are dehydrated in some form or fashion and don't even know it.
