Ice baths
Anyone do this on a regular basis. I tried this for the first time and really liked how I felt afterwards; I am going to keep trying it now that it is summer, not sure how enjoyable it will be in the winter??

I tried it for 2 minutes the first time............It was a little rough!!
I think the sweet spot is in the 3-5 minute mark. Most of the info I have on it is for the health benefits as opposed to doing anything with muscle growth.
Keep in mind that ice baths stimulate cold shock protiens...............this one you can get lost in the weeds, but if you skim it you get the idea; it is crazy good for you long term and in becoming healthier.

For those who like to watch instead of read. Dr Patrick talks about both heat shock and cold shock proteins. Most of this again is based on longevity and overall health benefits.

In looking back I should have put this in the over 40 forum, but I didn't think it would get as many views. This is definitely something that us older guys can use.
