welcome to MC....we are always glad to see new women. Now about your questions...It would be somewhat helpfull if you knew what your goals are. But to start I would say the 2.5 daily is not enough...I do understand that you want to watch for sides but I think that you should up that to at least 5mg daily...or if it was me, I would go up to at least 8mg - 10mg.(since your tabs are 10mg I would take one daily..maybe half in the am and the other before bed)..just my opinion though .
And yes with T3 you do want to be careful...ramp it both ways (starting and coming off)...I have used T3 twice and I really liked my results...this is how I used it:
the 1st time: 25 daily for a week, 50 daily for a week, 75 daily for a week, then back down 50 daily for a week and 25 daily for a week. The 2nd time I did the same thing but did the 75mcg for 2 weeks.
