Injured while lifting weights - Need help
Hey!! I have joined the gym a few months back. A few weeks back, I lifted weights and injured my elbow. My arms are aching a lot. I don't know what to do. I feel like I can't use them. They feel like very heavy and tired. I can’t even straighten my elbow when I try to do it. I have to keep them bent at a 90 degree angle. The pain seems to be coming from directly where my arm bends to about 1 inch towards my bicep. I took some painkillers, massaged it by myself and it seemed to lessen the pain but only temporarily. A few days ago, I experienced a sharp stabbing pain. One of my neighbors suggested consulting a sports massage therapist from a clinic in Toronto. Has anyone here had a similar situation? What have you done to get rid of the pain? Any advice is highly appreciated. I can't tolerate the pain anymore. Please help!!
