    Default What does Genetics Control?

What does genetics control ? ⁣

Many people like to blame their condition on genetics, and while there are certainly things that we can't control, we can still make outstanding progress with what we actually can control, which is what we should focus our attention on: the ability to control our nutrition and exercise. ⁣

Sure, genetics may predispose us to a lot of things: it can make losing body fat harder for some, or even harder to gain muscle for others, but even then, have you truly given it the time to see that being the case ? Have you done your best to eventually come to that conclusion ? ⁣

Before we can blame it on genetics, let's remind us that we need to put in the work. If we don't see immediate results it's because it takes time, year in year out, a lot of mistakes, learning, and improving.⁣

Therefore, while genetics may play a role in how well we do, let's max out on what we can control, first. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't complain about genetics by then!⁣

What do you think ? Curious to know your guys' thoughts! Let's discuss about it. ⁣

Of course, if you don't put in effort nothing will happen, if you make an effort you will always get results, no matter how small. And when you start to enjoy the process you will forget to discover what is your genetics or your genetic potential.

Oh yeah, people are full of shit, they blame anything other than themselves and their inability to put the time and energy into work.

It is never the lack of work. Always something else.
