Now i dont want this turning ugly but I kinda wanted to know where the new generations will lean in the upcoming elections.

I am undecided as of yet, and I will be the first to state my opinion.

I dont agree with either in some aspects and some issues however I believe we need a strong leader with good decision making skills and who will accept the decision they make as long as its whats right for the people to make us better, stronger and safer.
so maybe we can discuss in a peace ful manner, but if this thread becomes bad i will not hesitate to delete it.
everyone can be heard and opinions are simply that opinions it should not affect your choice thats why we live in america you have the right to speak and choose.

in my opinion bush has proven himself with the way 9/11 was handled. i can't see myself trusting kerry to lead the country if a similar situation were to occur in the future. bush has my vote.

I'm like strider I have a mix of issues on both sided I agree and disagree with,
But I have to vote republican because I collect rare and exotic firearms and in order to keep my collection without having to pay crazy registration taxes and stuff since I'm licensed and legal.

I wish the job and economy were better but in all honesty I think it would suck rather theirs a democrat or a republican in office.

I will vote for Kerry to many liberties are being taken away in the guise of security which wont even stop terrorism to begin with... Hell this board is probably under the watchful eye of the feds as a terorist group and with the patriot act they have a right to snoop....
Plus although the world is a better palce without Sadam It was a war not worth fighting and we were lied to about WMD Terrorist ties etc....
#3 reason The economy sucks deficits are high and taxes on the middle class are extream while Halaburton which made billions in unbidded government contracts, and rich fokes make money hand over fist with tax brakes.

Econ 101- it takes 8 years for economic policy to take effect. We are now reaping the benifits of the changes that Clinton made, coupled with the effects of 9/11. The economy was good for the eight years Clinton was in office from the changes made by Bush Senior and Reagan. And the actual tax rates on the weathy are higher than middle class. Making $1million now means actually "taking home" $1/2 million. The middleclass pays nowhere near that rate, it is closer to 1/3. Personally, I feel the only fair tax system would be a flat rate. Everybody pays the same percentage regardless of income, but that is another LONG discussion.

I'm for bush for sure.He had the balls to really take charge and get some f**king revenge after 911.. Holy cow gymbound you are preaching to the choir. I have been saying that about Clinton for years and almost came to blows with some people. Clinton dodged the draft, Kerry pretty much boycotted the country while a soldier, I'm sorry but the democratic party is only a big push for all these enviromentalists, gays, and people who sap off welfare. No offense that is my opinion. Also if it were for no other reason Bush took a stand against partial birth abortion and is against gay marriage. I know most of you guys aren't religious but God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for exactly what we are trying to legalize. Anyways everyone has an opinion and that is mine. to all those countries who have backed out on us, no more importing any goods, for all those we owe money to, fuck'em we are americans we owe everyone money dont like it then we will make our own goods from now on. to the electronics industry, one or the other foreign cars or foreign electronics but one or the other if the other is imported then a %50 tax is done!

I agree it needs to be someone with some experience but not always he who has the most in that fiels.
We need a man who has lived on the streets and who knows what the american people need and want, someone who is not perfect and who knows how to fuck up and take the blame without acting high and mighty.

War will happen so those who oppose it move to germany, what country ever in history started a war for the "right" reason? NONE!

We just need to support the ideas of american people and do what they need done to strive, and yes if min wage is raised then so will cost of living be.
so we raise more tax on import for other countries and use that money to help companies.
