Yall own guns??
Before I go posting my pictures on the goodies I have.......
Who has firearms, Legal ones only and hunt or target practice?
Rifles handguns shotties etc?
I have cycled over the years close to 40 flavors, From the top of the line stuff like Steyr to middle range rugers to the simple jim surplus commie blocks.......Love every minute of it.
Post your stories, I got some pictures if its allowed?
Thanks

Picked up a shot gun from a old guy who bought it new in mid 50's. Its a automatic (5or6 shot). Also have a reg short barrel shot gun
because sometimes all you need is the sound of cocking it. click-click lol Always in the market for a good deal on a good
hand gun. (I'm a cheap bastard)

lol.. what does FTMFW stand for.. hahahaha, that one is New for me..
And thanks everyone.. yah my collection has been label borederline Insanity... I just know that if SHTF. I am safe.. I got 3 safe's.. One as you see, One with all miscellaneous firearms, Handguns, shotguns, Bolt-action rifles.. and one safe jammed full of Dry ammo boxes of various munitions..
I am just a Collector.. the greatest thing about guns is that they are an investment.. guaranteed to never depreciate.. and always accumulate **Especially w/ a democrat in office**

The AR platform is the greatest.. I hate AK's to be honest.. I don't typically stick to just the (5.56nato/.223) my AR'S vary from 5.7x28mm (uppers), .450bushmaster, i have transformed one of AR's to .22LR.. haha My Plinker.. and not to mention .. above and beyond all the .458SOCOM.. those are just some of the variations.. of course I have the 7.62x51(.308) Upper.. AND the 7.62 x 39mm *AK-47rnd* Upper
I particularly do NOT like the basic Ar-15 round of the 5.56(.223) -- I have 3 that I have kept that way.. One is an M4 Variant .. One is a nice Comp. COLT.. and another is a RRA PPS...
There is NO BETTER platform than The AR.. I mean how, can you justify that the AK-47 is a better platform than the AR. I am just curious.. ya know?? You can't even come close to the versatility.. the lightweight, the maneuverability, the absolute POSSIBLE Varitions of this gun are endless.. all you need is a Semi-Auto or in my lucky case a FULL Auto Lower Receiver .. and the possibilities are endless !!
As I just explained.

I agree 100% i cant stand AK's i have one but just for collections reasons. AR is the most versatile platform made period. Its an amazing concept. AK is good for two thing being ugly and shooting inaccurately. they are dependable but so is the AR never had an AR jam on me and ive put thousands of rounds down range.

Reliability is probably the biggest issue I have with the AR, I also hate that .223 round.
I buy czech surplus x39 for 12 cents a pop, I bought 20 crates 3 years ago and have 16 left.......I should have bought 50.
I have a odd ball K31 swiss rifle with 7.5x55 round that must be reloaded since there are no more Gp11 surplus any more.
A 250$ bolt action that does roughly .5" - .8" at 100 yards with a scope. I love her.
I stick to cheap rounds and things that are reliable - Always thinking ahead like you said SHTF situations.
The AR platform is expensive in Canada, a stripped lower is 300$ complete gun close to 1400$ - Not my cup of tea.
Just because the AR is American made it certainly doesn't justify its the BEST. The ak has had one heck of a long run, and there is a reason it is being used today. We can battle back and forth all day long, both guns do their job. Some times a rattle gun with horrible tolerances will prevail......Ask the Germans when they went into the cold Russian winter, Close specs froze their shit up. Rattle guns banged away.
Again to each their own.
I've recently let go of 4 rifles and 1 shottie, Too much $ invested, Bought me a simple .22 bolt action and now I can plink all day with out breaking my bank...............Lets hope the zombies dont come running.
I atta post up some pictures now LOL

Well theres no doubt in my mind that the AK and a couple other similar rifles are probably the most reliable in the world. More so then the AR. That being said though doesnt make it a better weapon. It depends on the concepts and where you will be fighting etc. One thing about them sink it in quicksand mud anything and it will fire lol. Same with why im a huge fan of glocks simplicity and reliability. If i had the choice depending on the circumstances i would much prefer an AR platform chambered in a different round then 5.56 over the AK about 98% of the time. The other 2% just depending on location etc.

Hahaha thanks.. I have since improved my handgun collection.. but.. I am a little iffy about posting pics of my weapons.. I was clued in by someone stating that because I have my Class 3 stamp.. I Should probably just keep my gun pics to myself.. due to the nature in which we discuss things.. but then again.. NONE of us are serious when we say anything on these boards anyways.. ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY...
