As a lot of you know i've had a big project going on for a while so here it is. Coming along slowly. We broke ground in the end of July after i cleared out an acre just across from one of our old fields. Its about 1.5 miles back a dirt road that i maintain. The back of the house is has about 12 acres i own behind it which is all mature woods boardering State Forest lands so you could walk forever out the back door. The rest of the farm is past the house further up the dirt road.
Its 4 bedrooms 2 1/2 bath about 3,600 sq feet when all said and done.

That's awesome man!!! I helped my dad build his 3000 sq foot log home 5 or 6 years ago. It's something you can take pride in for tge rest of your life!! Congrats man and keep the pics coming!

i love it bro! looks like its shaping up to be a beautiful house! If i was to ever build a new home, it would be a one floor plan, i hate steps, lol, but ur house looks absolutly beautiful so far!

Thanks guys. Im def proud of it so far and cant wait till its all finished. I'll keep updating with some pics in the future. We are going to do some stacked slate accents on the front so im really looking forward to that.
Hopefully i can talk the wife into a whitetail antler chandelier. Its not likely but we'll see.

It does look good and since you are involved you can make sure it's done right not like shit like so many of the builders do with the cheapest labor and parts, real nice I'm impressed

That looks awesome man, having the privacy is the biggest thing. I love being out away from people, I just hate not having cell service, so hopefully you have cell service lol

Yea, we all know once you go up, you rarely come down

Damn man, not that I have to tell you, but that is gorgeous. Hopefully Silk and I will be able to buy the 10 acres we have our eyes set on this year and be able to start on the house 5 years from now. It won't be anything like that, but that is truly beautiful!

Man thats gonna be a nice house. We built 2 years ago and love the house but hate the neighbors. I grew up in the country and don't know why in the hell we moved to town.

I feel your pain. We lived in the city while i was in training. After growing up in the sticks it was really hard to get used to.

If you're in an area like me then being out away from people means that you're neighbors are all more than willing to lend a hand and have the know how to fix their own stuff and all of that good stuff. Plus they keep to themselves, unlike being in the city/town where people don't know jack shit and are complete assholes and don't take care of shit (especially their property)

Nice crib jpotch.. Now let's hope you don't get the dam deerhorn chandelier and let's hope we don't see you on espn 50 for 50 gone broke show 2020 and u livin in a wood shed.. You need a pair of Newfoundlan 200lb guard dogs to ride too.. Look like houses and property here in the beautiful northwest washington.
