ok, now before you scream at your PC, "don't it'll turn you gay!" don't worry it didn't. I have no desire to blow dudes or anything beyond a highfive given the proper circumstances. I've decided to do this to help improve my flexability and prevent injuries like my pec tendon tare.

that being said it was one of the hardest 55 minutes of my life. holy hell did it kick my ass. I was sweating and shaking hard. but about 5 minutes after I felt GREAT! not good but great. I realized how les flexible my left side is compared to my right which isn't good either. I'm going to cram it into an already busy training schedule. hopefully it'll be worth it.:D

on a side note, I benched 185 for 3 sets of 10 monday without any problems or pain. this is just the second time(1st 95lbs) I've benched since my pec tare on 05/28 and surgery on 06/12. :sport:

Yoga will kick your ass, it's no joke! It's a full body workout and then some. Sounds like you're well on your way to a full recovery! Keep it up brutha!

Im not gonna give you a hard time. If its helping recovery then do it, I've been there and recovery from surgery sucks for us lifters. Looks like you are making some good progress.

I DID YOGA MANY YEARS AGO... and would do it again..we all need to be a bit more flexable and u get a good work out as well plus think of all the fit chicks that go there man there is some hottties at my place..

there weren't any in the class I took but I've got another today so I'm hoping for a better turn out.

Take it slow and careful on your pec bro. Hey, anything like that (yoga) to supplement your weightlifting is always good.
Were you sore after?? I did a zumba class at my gym. I was the only guy with about 12 women. I had them all laughing
like hell. lol It was a lot of fun but I was sore as hell the next few days. (didnt admit it though, lol)

pec is a little sore today. but I tend to be a little sore/stiff in the am anyways. but I wasn't sore afterwards. I was very tired at first but after a few minutes I felt great. in fact I trained arms and very little shoulders afterwards.

Great to hear, I've never done any yoga, but I'm sure it's not easy. Anything to help recovery, but if I'm running a cycle the last place I need to be found is standing behind a hot chics bent over ass!!! I'm done for!!

My fiance got me to do Bikram yoga once. Its similar to regular yoga but they heat the room to 105 degrees and it last 90 mins. It was horrible. Some of the stretches were pretty difficult but the worst part is the heat. I'm pretty sure I had heat stroke at about the 1 hour mark. I felt horrible the rest of the day. Sick to my stomach. I literally wanted to run out of the room at several points, but my ego got in the way of my physical health. lol.
