What Motivates you to Train Hard?
I enjoy the gym for a number of reasons, but some guys you meet there, well that will be the first and maybe last time you may ever see them. I go because it's where I find solitude, the idea is simple, just push the weight. The goals are set by you, and you alone. How far you go or don't go is up to you also. When I'm there for that one hour I'm 100% focused on just that, being there and pushing my limits.

Listening to music that has a great beat will give me some motivation. Unfortunately my gym dosen't play any good music. There is a 20 year old girl at the desk and she seems to like to play rap music most of the time. That may be why more than half of the people have their MP3 players and ear buds in.

Staying in shape and competitive is what motivates me to train! After playing football I felt lost so I turned to weights, I got into powerlifting meets as it was a way to compete then it took a toll on my joints so I got into bodybuilding , did a few shows and been hooked on pushing my body to the limit ever since!

i often sit and wonder what motivates me to go 3-4-5 days a weeks to the gym and push my self to the limit (not every day of course).
i do enjoy looking in the mirror and thinking not bad for 38..also i feel i would pile on the pounds sitting at work all day as well.
but most of all i dont know nothing else no more..it has over took me and become its own persona..not my doing it just happened that way..
nearly 20 years i just cant stop even if i wanted.
i go through years or months of just going though the montions and bang im back at it bigger faster stronger..
take the past few months i feel fucking amazing at the moment every thing is right in order and when it is u just cant keep away right??.i had to stop my self from hitting the weights AGAIN today..and just do cardio..lol..IronJulius liked this postI AINT NO ROCKET SCIENTIST, I DON'T CLIMB MOUNTAINS, I DON'T PLAY "SQUASH", I DON'T KNIT, OR BASKET WEAVE, IM A MUTHA FUCKIN, WEIGHT LIFTER!!! AND I PICK SHIT UP!!!!
