going on my first cruise Sunday

I have done 3 cruises, 2 with carnival. If you drink, pack bottles in luggage. Alcohol is expensive on the ship! Also If you do excursions; snorkeling, para-sailing, etc. Do not buy them on the ship. You will pay a third of the price by getting these off the ship. There will be a line of tour guides and salesman when you exit the ship at each port. Here you can negotiate what you will pay. Likely you will be sitting next to someone on this excursion that paid over a hundred dollars and you spent 25. Get my drift? You just have to be able to talk to the locals. ugh I booked a deep sea fishing trip through Carnival.
I'll deff shop it around when I get there.
this is my first trip out of the country as well. "This is the furthest from home I've ever been.".

My wife wants to go on a cruise, but fuck that! Im afraid to fly, and afraid to float, so I take her to the local mall and buy her stuff,lol. Its not the same as a cruise or vacation but I'm a pussy when it comes to shit like that!

Get something for nausea. I was in the Navy for many years and while on ships; people would start to disappear to their bunks because of the sickness lol. I never got sick just gave me a bit of a headache for some reason. Of course those carnival ships are prob bigger than a frig. War ship.

what a nightmare!
all of my excursions got canceled. no deep sea fishing because not enough people signed up. Routan got skipped because it was to "windy" to dock. the boat was loaded with the elderly, morbidly obese and families. there were literally no hot... or even attractive females. the only ones worth looking at were either with their parents and going on a trip for high school graduation or with a dude. and I'm not exaggerating when I say it might have been 12 at the max. In fact I can only think of 6 off the top of my head. the food sucked big time. the "comedians" were terrible and every 2 steps you took someone is in your face trying to sell something. the weather was overcast and crappy everyday but the last one and it rained 2 days.
I will never go on another cruise again.

If a boat sank and I was on it.... I would die of fright long before a shark got me. I am scared to death of the ocean too. One summer when I was about 10 I watched Jaws like every day. Mess you up!!!!

I thought the same thing, I remember my first gruise Test E. loved it no pct and feeling fantastic all the time.
Cruise, never been on, been to Mexico about 4 times and some other countries. I have wanted to hit a cruise for a good price for my girl and me over the next few months, but I think ill save up and go to Mr. Olympia again next year instead. Sorry your trip was not what you expected bro thats the worst, when you wait all that time and get so pumped to be let down.
No No , if my cruise boat ever sank, i would splash as hard and as loud as I could before i drown, this way a shark would hear the noise and come to eat me, i would then punch the shark in the face, elbow him in the gill, and tame that mother fucker to the point i could jump on his back and ride him into the shore line, all while holding my loved ones in my arms atop the shark!
I grew up on Aqua Man Cartoons what can I say lol
