Never Buy a Tag Heuer Watch!

So some of you read my prior post about my brand new watch falling off my wrist in my truck, as a link in the band broke! So the watch was 34 days old or some shit like that, brand fucking new basically, and nearly 3k$ and its been 3 weeks now since Tag has had it, and they are now telling me the warranty does NOT cover the band! Only the actual swiss time piece intricacies!

Ae you fucking kidding me! The jeweler told me it had a full warranty when i purchased it! and Now he says tag wants $300 to fix my band! So the jeweler tells me, don't sweat it, he will pay the repair fees, as if he is doing me a favor, I could tell he was expecting me to say "Thank you" to him covering the repairs, But fuck that SHIT! He should cover the costs if Tag won't since he told me it was a full warranty!

Anyways I found out through watch forums, that Tag never gives warranty for the bands! What a crock of shit!

Long story short! NEVER BUY A TAG HEUER!

The fucked up thing is I was going to Buy my wife a matching Ladies Tag for her birthday this weekend! But they lost that business! So I'm getting her a Ladies Movado 800 series Friday, which matches my Mens Movado 800 series watch, so hope she likes it!


Anyways i know i always rant, but what can i say shit pisses me the fuck off

I have had one for many years. I did lose one of the side pusher buttons early on. I tried to no avail to find a replacement. I ended up having to send to it back to Tag at a cost of $300. This part probably cost 3 pennies to make. Quite disappointing. If I bought a new one, I would go for a Shinola which is made right here in Detroit.

Sorry to hear that man. I've had several Tag's and never had an issue. I also have the Movado museum piece, and had to pay $500 to get it repaired once (batteries aren't cheap either). It was worth it though, cause it's a sweet watch. Anyway, just sounds like bad luck, but at least you got it taken care of.
