Wife and I watched the first 2 episodes of the X-files, and i love Aline stuff, and shows and movies and thought X-files was good years ago, but this new X-files doesnt seem good to me.

He is the same, but she seems like she (gillian andrson) is on Valium, and seems like she doesnt wanna make facial expressions in fear her botoxed face will rip the skin with any emotion on her face lmao

Awww, I have it on dvr but haven't had the chance to watch it yet. I hope I'm not disappointed, but I can tell Gillian Anderson has had some work done. I was a huge fan of the original series even though I caught on late, watching the entire series on Netflix like 4 years ago. I'm always the last one at the party! lol

yeah im curious what both you guys thought of the new episodes

Sorry for the delay - the first episode I had recorded was some game that was on which totally blows since they haven't been showing reruns and I try to watch everything in order. I finally gave up and watched the second episode last night. Damn Gillian Anderson has really had some serious work done! Just like you said, she has all the emotion of the terminator. Also, I noticed the editing was really weird and the whole tone kinda seemed different, like they're trying to gross everyone out with gore like the walking dead or csi. All in all, I'd say I'm a little disappointed, but I still want to believe :p

They both haven't aged well at all. Mulder looked older than the 20 years that had passed since the last one. Scully didn't even look like the old Scully. I could only recognize her by her voice. It is amazing how some people can change in only 20 years.
As to the story, it seems similar to the old X-files, maybe a little more far-out. The episode I saw was about a shape shifter. A little hard to believe. Maybe the next episode will have Mulder being taken aboard an alien space ship. LOL:laugh:

The sequel to Independence Day movie is coming out next summer. I saw a trailer and it said the alien ship is much bigger than the previous one. It will be interesting to see if they can destroy it. Maybe one of these movies will not have humans winning. I would like to see one of these types of movies take all life on Earth. Then the sequel can show life starting all over again.
The paralyzed physicist Steven Hawking predicts that humans will be extinct in 100 years. Maybe he knows something we don't? :dizzy:

Hawking says our machines are going to take over and we'll all go extinct. Once skynet becomes self aware, we're all done!
