New to All of This!!!

Greetings! I'm new to all of this but interested in getting in shape quickly, efficiently, and in a way that is sustainable. I found this site by looking for research around biohacking and I feel like there is a lot of good information here.

I am currently on a high-protein/animal fat diet, low to no carbs...I guess you'd call it keto specific. My metabolism is worthless due to hypothyroidism, for which I am on Synthroid. Before I start searching the forums, I'd like to know if anyone has experience working out, taking chems, and cutting fat while competing against thyroid issues.

With diet alone I am 185lbs, 5' 11', big legs (thanks 18 years of soccer), decent arms and shoulders, and the worlds worst spare tire. My goals are to get lean and relatively defined. I don't want to bulk or build much, but know I need to in order to cut fat. Overall, I just want to look good in most clothing. ;)

Ive researched some of the products here, but am unsure where to start. Mostly I want to keep it simple, but only have 30-45 per day to workout, so I'm looking for something to help. Thanks in advance!

I just turned 35. Overall, healthy...was diagnosed pre-diabetic at 20 w/ hypothyroidism. Was on metformin and Synthroid for about 10 years. Started eating high quality fats and low/no carbs and turned my diabetic condition around. Haven't been able to get my thyroid to do anything different. ;)

Welcome to MuscleChemistry. Your in the right place. The time you have each day is more than enough to get to your goals.
I believe you will find a lot of information on what your looking for but I would like to direct you to our diet forum.
Once there open a thread and ask your specific circumstances with 3J. He has had many clients in your situation, not just personal experience or broscience.
Again welcome. ..

Welcome aboard. Best and most informative (quality real information) board on the net. You won't find a nicer, more qualified, bunch of guys and gals to get info from.

Welcome. There is a wealth of information available throughout the forums. Have you recently had your T3 levels tested? I'm not sure how educated you are on the synthroid T4 vs T3 Cytomel differences. Basically T4 must be converted to T3. T3 Is the only active thyroid hormone. There's going to be alot to digest, but feel free to post anything that we may be able to help you with

I'll take a look. I've done a bit of research, but haven't dug into it completely. Last Fall I did a full lab workup and have some levels I could share from that. Essentially, whenever I get checked my TSH is high and my T4 is low, but my T3 is low-mid. Total Testosterone is 330 and Free-T is 62. I haven't complained much to the doc about those numbers, figured it was sort of within "normal" range, but for me maybe it is too low.
