Well our 3 year old Boy and Girl Twins start their first day of school tomorrow, Preschool anyhow, not school school like kindergarten , lol i wish as that shit is free lol Preschool However is $15,000 per year for crying out loud. Anyways, worried to death leaving my kids in the hands of strangers, but they need it, time to start learning early, and time to be around kids their own age!

Anyone else have kids starting their first day soon? My wife goes back to school tomorrow as well, she is a highschool teacher, and she is a natural worry wart, lol, so she is on edge for herself going back and the twins!

Anyways, good luck to those of you heading back to work, or school, and always kiss your kids every day!

My eldest daughter also turns 20 in a couple weeks, and wants money for a tattoo cover up on an old tattoo lmao, what the fuck! I remember her first day of school too lol now she is getting tattoo cover ups lmao

Damn. I can't even imagine how scary that would be. I will say this.. with all the national news stories about crazy teachers or people charged with supervising children you can bet there is some extensive background checks going on. I'll keep my story about the teacher leading the cult of 12-17 year olds and having them cut and or burn themselves to get the "demons" out of them to myself. Lol! The good news was someone figured out something was up before the plans to murder their parents were finished.
I have 3 exams this week. Does that count?

All I can say is God bless you... I have a granddaughter who's 2 and in day care. I say it's good for them to learn how to get along with other kids. But thank Goodness those days are over for me!

My boy turned 23 yesterday. I'm glad those days are over. But as a parent, you never stop worrying for one reason or another.

Well Kids didnt cry when we left them at school for their first day, however my wife cried her eyes out lmao,

Dude, yeah keep that crazy shit to yourself please lol

And No leatherhead, you never stop worrying brutha! I worry more about my eldest whos nearly 20 , more so than the twins! At 20, it only takes one mistake to change the course of your life for ever! So yeah I worry about her the most

Bro, i hope to not be a grand dad, lol, I pray my eldest doesnt get pregnant for another 10 years, but if she were to have a kid now, my 3 year old twins would already be an Uncle and Aunt lmao, so GOD forbid

Yeah, I hear that! I remember as a young kids, maybe 8 or so, a neighbor kid the same age as me was already an uncle. He referred to his nephews as such, and I said, "You mean 'cousin'". I couldn't wrap my head around it at the time! I remember asking my mother about it, just couldn't believe it! Lol!

My youngest is about to turn 24, and you're 100% right about the worry as a parent and the one wrong, life changing move!

The worst part of all that for me is that she is DONE listening to Dad, and has been for quite some time. There ain't a damn thing I can do about whatever it is she does.....Except maybe help pick up the pieces if needed.

Luckily, my boy still listens to me, for the most part. He's got a good head on his shoulders, and luckily, he's not as "adventurous" as me. He's mellow, laid back, and not very daring. He definitely gets that from his mother.

Wow, I remember those days. I have five children, oldest is 32 and the youngest is 17. 4 boys and 1 girl. I also have 4 G babies. The oldest is 8, then 4, 3, 2. I don't know about the school situation anymore. If I could afford it, private school would be the way to go. All the crazy stuff that goes on in schools these day is awful. When I was in school, the teachers would bust your ass and dare you to open your mouth. I remember one kid hit a teacher and got KTFO. I remember looking out the windows of my classroom and seeing truck after truck with rifles and shotgun in racks, every guy had a buck knife on his belt. No one got shot. Those were the good old days.

First day of first grade for my little guy.....shit isn't free as I am right there with you Presser....$10k a year and that's with a scholarship.....My wife doesn't like the kid to teach ratio in public school...as out here its 32 kids to one teacher....In private school its 12 to one....I have to pick my battles and this one I don't feel like fighting with her so private school it is...just gotta work that much harder to make up the difference.....My oldest is 20 with no job and just moved back home......so there is an added expense as well....that battle I will fight and he will have a job soon or be homeless....time to figure it out, I know I had to at 20.
