So I delete the temporary files, cookies, and do the disk clean up but why does this shit always happen after a year of having a computer? SLOWSSSSS down....

Videos were super choppy so I went in to the video card driver and there was an option to update it, I did that it took a minute to update the driver and it helped a bit, but still not like how this thing should be moving.

SUGGESTIONS PLEASE

Can you do a clean install? I would try maybe Defrag the hd. Then a clean install or system restore.

Clean install?
Every time I look to see if it needs to be defragged it says 0 or 1 percent fragged. System restore i'd lose everything right?
I don't trust the anti malware shit after it fucked my really nice laptop....
I literally did the most childish thing I've done since I was a child.
My wife bought me a beats by dre, touch screen, keys lit computer.
After about a year it started slowing down, I paid and installed Mcafee
It started fucking up left and right and ultimately completely froze and I couldn't even do a hard shut down on it. I was so pissed that I put my fist through the screen, slammed on the floor, and stomped on it............ Like a fuckin idiot.
I realized like 2 hours later why I need a computer and reordered a different one on amazon from my phone.

So that being said I am not doing Mcafee or malwarebytes etc

If you do a system restore you shouldn’t loss anything like documents, or pics, etc.
It will walk you through the process and give you options. It will be the reset the system to a point of your choosing when the system functioned properly. By reset I mean it will remove programs, drivers, updates and reset the settings to where the system was, on the date you choose when the system was functioning good.
A lot of this depends on the operating system your using. If it is windows 10 I believe you can reset your entire computer to the same way you got it and not lose your data.

I have windows 10. Is it better to delete the video driver and get a new one too? or is that a bad idea, or only will work with certain shit? I remember it began with - Intel(R)

Thanks bro

I'm not big on messing with video drivers and stuff like that. I'm nowhere near an expert at any of this. I learned what I know because I constantly screwed with updates and system optimization tools and messed up my computer a lot.
Windows 10 was made to help with problems like this.

IMO... You should goto settings, then Update & Security, click Recovery
The first option is, Reset this PC
click on Get Started.
It will let you keep all of your files, then reinstall windows.
It will delete any programs that didn't come with the computer but it will give you information about each one so you can reinstall them. You will also have to update your computer. It may take a while....but this has made my computer like new a couple times.

Let me know what you think

OK did it, still being super slow at opening multiple tabs. Internet explorer suc so I usually use Firefox, and don't want to use google chrome bc I think you have to be logged into a google acct right?
Suggestions?

No you don't have to be logged into chrome to use it. Just to import your settings & bookmarks.
Sorry that didn't work bro

No bro it def helped a bit, like if there was 70% for it to improve back to it's new shape, this reset did like 45% of that

One thing I actually NEVER do with systems running Windows is to run a disk clean up. There is no reason to do that because later systems like Windows 10 are very good about the way they use disk space, and usually you end up "cleaning" out files that you actually need. This has been the case ever since Windows XP in my experience. Deleting temp files and cookies is fine as long as you're doing it from the browser. Forcibly removing temp files on your own from Windows Explorer can mess with the system because it may be using any one of them.

If it were me, I'd backup any data then wipe the drive and do a clean install of the system and any programs that were installed.
