    Default AST - Liver Function

The normal range is 10-42. Mine tested at 46.6. Should I be concerned?

I wouldn't be overly concerned if you are on anything oral but make sure you are taking liver support and cycle correctly. Make sure it returns to normal post cycle

As long as both ALT and AST are not raised you are cool. As IG said off cycle they should be in range depending on what "off" means to you. Many guys think some primo tabs and 300 Test cruise per week is off cycle but that's not the definition of off cycle when we are discussing liver values. Your readings are fine brutha.
I have had liver issues going on for 30 years due to heavy alcohol dependency which I kicked 32 years ago so I have a liver doctor watching me quarterly for all that time and have learned just about everything there is to know on the subject and it is a serious concern.
Glad you are checking it most guys really consider it an afterthought

Damn! I just went back to my labs and saw that the ALT was 62.
Range is 10-50. Now should I be concerned?

It sounds like you are concerned. My doc hadn't been too concerned in the past when I had values that were only a few points over the range, but personally I feel I should keep it in check so I'm always using a liver protectant to bring values down. Just seems common sense. Higher values mean the liver is stressed so take care of it IMO.

Did you happen to have a heavy workout the day of the test? I believe muscle breakdown will cause elevated numbers.

No worries brutha those are VERY slightly elevated levels.
Use ALA, milk thistle, Liv 52 and tons of water and all will be well.
The only concern I would have is if you were about to start an 8 week dbol or anadrol oral run then I might suggest a different oral but those values are fine.
As I said I have 32 years dealing with a bad liver with values 5x as high as yours due to alcoholism trust me you are good.

Yes, I took 1000mg/day of milk thistle, and all my liver values came back into normal range.
