I’ve used a few preworkouts but have moved away from them to Stimulant free stuff. Mainly carb loading and sugar.
I use a lot of vitamin Shoppe stuff just because it’s so convenient
Omega oil
Multivitamin
Amino acid’s
Completely B complex
Potassium
Zink
Liver protection of some sorts at all times
Collagen (bio life)
That’s pretty much my run down.

I make my own PWO. It's WAY cheaper. This is what I have in PWO mix.
Betal alanine ~ 4-6g If you don't like the tingling sensation don't take it or take less.
Citrulline malate ~ 6g
Taurine ~ 2g
L-tyrosine ~ 2g
Salt however much you like.
Caffeine and/or another stimulant that you like.
If you want to take caffeine but don't like the jitters, get some l-theanine 200-400mg is enough. I get l-theanine powder its way cheaper. You can also take this post workout if you want to chill after taking the caffeine.
Other supplements I take:
Whey protein
Maltodextrine (post workout)
Creatine monohydrate (4 weeks on 4 weeks off)
Codliver oil, 1 tablespoon
Vitamin D, 5000iu
Vitamin C, 1g (joints don't hurt as much)
Sometimes I drink about 1 tablespoon of applecidervinegar before a meal.
I'm thinking of getting zinc and magnesium.

L-carnitine, Betancourt powder, Omega 3,6, 9 oil, vitamin D3, COQ10, Vitamin C, himalaya liver care, garden of life probiotic 100 billion, baby aspirin, biotin, lipodrene, yohimbine hcl, 200mg caffeine, creatine monohydrate, glutamine, tumeric, taurine, Flintstone vitamins, bcaa's and whey from Nutrex
Word to the wise.... do NOT take all of that on an empty stomach. You will not only be amped, but you will want to throw up and die. LOL

i've used preworkout drinks, but most of the time i don't use anything. just drink water during workout.
i've also use ginseng and gingko before workout. right now the vials i have are 8000 mg ginseng and 2000 gingko. i buy them local at a chinese shop. you can get them through vitamin shoppe, vitacost, or nutrition express. i think they all carry them. bodybuilding.com carries decent preworkouts as well. labrada, bsn, muscletech,...drtbear1967 liked this post

What do you guys think of zinc and magnesium or "zma"?
I remember taking it when I was younger. Didn't notice anything tbh.

Dave Palumbo promotes titan, probably because he gets free stuff
Should be cheaper alternatives out there. If you guys aren't to lazy you can make it yourself.Maj7900, drtbear1967 liked this post

I take a ton of different things from time to time.................the only "game changer" for me has been curcumin. If you aren't taking it, you should it is one of the best things you can put in your word hole, period!!

Curcumin - 2 caps a day (helps with inflammation and joints tremendously for me)
Fish oil (switching to Krill when I'm out) - 4gm a day (general health and inflammation)
Ubiquinol - 100mg 2x a day (mitochondria health)
Vitamin C - 1000mg before bed (I had lost over 100lbs 12 years ago and was recommended for skin and I've kept it since as it seemed to help, plus the obvious benefits)
Magnesium - 300mg (general health and cramps)
Zinc - 20mg (blood work consistently shows low zinc if I don't)
1 shake a day with:
Taurine 2.5gm (testicular health and cramps)
Beet powder - 1 serving (best for vascularity I've tried)
Fiber powder 2.5-5gm (keeps the plumbing good and they say it helps with cholesterol, mines always good or fine without tren or orals)
Whey - 20-40gm (extra protein plus the antioxidant benefits)
---with foods- Oats, berries, spinach, almonds, egg whites, yogurt.
I've been thinking about adding Citrulline Malate to my morning/pre-workout shake.drtbear1967 liked this post
