Introduction from a PhD Candidate
Hi everyone,
Just thought I would quickly introduce myself here!
I was always keen on sports and working out growing up - and now I am lucky enough to be doing a PhD which partly looks into PIED communities (particularly in online forums).
My latest research is looking into why people purchase PIEDs online as opposed to through in-person contacts (e.g., training partners) and applying frameworks to better understand this behaviour (you can participate in the study here if you are interested (https://griffithisbr.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_ ).2mkZxF7Q2Gfy8Tj
Looking forward to chatting to everyone more!

I am not a PhD candidate myself, but I hope I will get at this point myself sometime in the future. I truly respect people who get this far with their degree. It’s definitely not an easy process, but often times the road to success isn’t easy. That’s what I keep telling myself in order to move forward and be consistent with my work. Personally, the biggest difficulty at the moment for me is improving my writing skills. I always find it a bit hard to express things on paper, so one platform that is really helping me overcome this obstacle is https://studybay.com/blog/250-word-essay/. Every time I am lost, or don’t know how to proceed, I follow the advice on this website.
