Default Percussion Massager & Does anyone have daily intercostal pain?

Feels like I am playing whackamole here.

So after 6+ years of chronic back pain, I got myself off prescribed pain meds cold turkey (although I don't recommend bc you could have a seizure without weaning off, Im stubborn) it took maybe 2-3 months off pain meds, countless massages, rolling my back, trigger point injections I finally got a handle on the back pain. ESPECIALLY now using a percussion massager I made.

As soon as the back pain started getting under control with the trigger point injections, I have had intercostal pain in my lower ribs in the front and oblique (mostly right sided)

I went to a myofascial release masseuse (which are hard to find and had to travel an hour) and It made everything feel great for about a week.

I am wondering if either I had the rib pain the entire time but either the pain meds or back pain was so much that it totally masked that pain, but more importantly I am trying to figure this newer issue out (which can be caused from Thoracic spine pain) where I had issues that are now finally manageable w no meds.

Everyone needs to look into percussion massagers, this thing is the only thing to ever work out a few knots that would never be able to be worked out.

I give the most shits haha Thanks brutha! I appreciate that. It's crazy bc I have shared all this stuff since it originally happened! I was on this board for 2 years before I had my back injury and told the story all the way through.

Well I recommend everyone look into percussion massagers, can use them on your arms, legs, traps, most importantly your back (If you can get someone to hold it for you) It smashed painful knots out.

Yeah that's what I did. I bought a head that was 35 bucks, only will work with a "Worx" jigsaw bc it's thicker attachment receiver, and I bought the worx on amazon for 100 bucks. So instead of a 500-600 dollar one I made one for 135. They had them cheaper on ebay like 72 buck and 76 bucks, the 1st one I tried said it was suspicious and refunded my money (ebay did) they 2nd one the seller told me they were out of stock so it would be an additional week before they even get them, so I was like ok fuck this, refund me, spent the extra 24 bucks and had it in 2 days bc I already had been waiting a week since the initial ebay one.

Huge fan of it, still need help with my intercostal pain though. I saw a myofascial release massager and they made me feel better for about 1 to 1.5 weeks (pain free), but it's almost an hour drive 85 bucks plus I gave him a 10 dollar tip ( not like a reg massage place, they don't really expect one there). I am trying to make another appt this wk bc that was like 2 months ago

Nice! I wish I could hold it on my own back. I can get my Wife to do it on my back but not long enough. I am riddled with knots, and it breaks them up if you can get on them for a couple mins each. I am close to just taping it on one of the columns in my house and putting my back on it like a grizzly haha

I did the wife's legs and low back last night. It really helps.
