Default Question about feeling saw delayed onset muscle soreness

Throughout my twenty years of training I have always used delayed onset muscle soreness as a guide to whether or not I can train the same body part a couple days later depending on the amount of soreness I feel wood determine whether or not I trained that muscle or muscle group. I have recently gotten back into training after a three-year hiatus and as expected my first week of training my muscles were extremely sore now that I am entering week 3 and 4 I have started to use some creatine and some citrulline malate and have noticed that even though I am training much heavier longer and intense I can not feel much muscle soreness. I know I am training intensely as I train to failure but I have noticed by adding the citrulline malate that I do not get the pump which it is supposed to give being a vasodilator it has actually created the reverse effect and I do not feel the skin tightening pumps but in return I do not 40 as quickly and have noticed no soreness. My question is do you think the vasodilation has a direct correlation with the lack of delayed onset muscle soreness. I apologize for the long winded Postg

Using those supplements can have an affect on muscle soreness. I know when I take a pre workout with them in it, I don't get as sore. Just my 2 cents.
