So I'm getting quick food at Wendy's for my wife and I, and the guy at the register who looks to be maybe mid 20's looks at me and says, "Did you used to be a bodybuilder?" Meaning he thought I had been a competitive bodybuilder in my earlier years. I told him that I wasn't, I just lift to look better. Then he says, "I was gonna say 'cause you're really muscular for an old guy." He then caught himself because he realized what he just said and tried to make it sound better telling me that I had a better body than most 20-something year olds. I knew he was trying to give me a compliment so I was good with it, but LMAO! So I'm officially an OLD GUY, HAHAHA! Told my wife what happened, and we had a good laugh!

Yeah, now that I'm over 40 I know that I'm officially OLD to teens and 20's. But, I remember thinking the same way at that age. But, I've got a few guys older than me at the gym who are jacked, so it gives me motivation that I can still add muscle in my 40's.

Have to train smarter, too! Can't go crazy intense anymore unless I want to be in pain for a full week, lol.

If we don't train smart and listen to our bodies, we will pay for it. When I see some of the young guys hitting it, I get that feeling to jump in with them, but have to come back down to reality.

I hear ya bro, I just don't have the recovery ability I used to have. I won't stop jumping in if they're doing something wrong though.. most listen to me and some don't.
