Taught our nephew how to make garlic cheddar biscuits. 20 year old Marine in training did a good job for the first time.

i am scared to eat sushi. I am always thinking I will get food born sickness. I have had friends eat them with no problems and I know of 1 couple that they both got sick all weekend on vacation from sushi and soy sauce.

Did anyone ever eat swordfish? A friend of mine invited my wife and I over to eat some blackened swordfish. I loved this great tasting, not fishy taste. My wife took a picture but I couldn't load it. I'm not to tech. This swordfish was caught by him off the coast of pompano beach in 1,000 feet of water at night with glo sticks. He was on vacation and brought this back in dry ice coolers. So cool I thought.

I made a chicken pot pie from scratch for the very first time.
I am shocked at myself but the hoard devoured it so I guess it's a win!!Mikeyz206 liked this post

Pan seared cod filet with a Korean BBQ and garlic sauce with a side of chicken rice and sauted fresh spinach and Parmesan.

Nice! Looks great. Cod has a nice mild taste. I might have said this already but another great less fishy taste is hog snapper. Wow this tastes like great. Mostly store bought or spearfish fresh. Hard to catch with a fishing pole. What's that Korean sauce taste like? A little teriyaki taste?

Alpha had picked up some Korean BBQ sauce from an Asian market and I added fresh garlic, Sriracha, onion powder, sesame seeds and crush ginger. Marinated the fish for 30 mins then a quick sear on a hot pan then reduced the marinate for a sauce. I love using cod because it holds the flavors well and cooks very quickly.
It literally took me 15 mins to make dinner for 2.Mikeyz206 liked this post

Sorry about being gone for a bit. The big guy hurt himself pretty badly and I needed to play nurse to being him back.
Tonight's dinner was a oven baked chicken, bone in and cooked in its own juices, with pan roasted brussel sprouts with garlic and Parmesan cheese.

Thank you very much. It's a lazy meal that I make when I find whatever I have ready to cook.
A can or corn, a can or black beans, spinach, green onions, chicken cubes, chopped sausage in about with Cajun seasoning and butter then throw in the al dente pasta and donejimbosmith316 thanked for this postjimbosmith316 liked this post

I am so sorry for being MIA... We were dealing with a lot of issues along with moving into a new home with the Covid B's happening....
Alpha finally got his new grill set up and threw on some amazing burgers. They were a hit with the boys and the dog wanted another!
Frankenstein (hodge podge spice mix) marinated burgers with spicy pepper jack cheese and garlic roasted mushrooms on top of a Ciabatta bun.
