Good Deeds!!
The world is such a scary and sad place nowadays. Over the past week, I've seen so much hate from one stranger to another. I've seen people arguing over the silliest things and make a mountain out of it. On top of that, hearing about Kobe Bryant and his daughter... It's just not right.
So I'm starting this thread to spread some good with my time on this planet.
I wanted to ask you all a simple favor, to spread love with good deeds.
It doesn't have to be big or extravagant, just a simple good deed.
Help a woman carry her groceries to her car, teach a child to tie their shoe laces, give a homeless a meal, hug your grandparents and your parents.
Just spread joy and love!
Then come back to this thread and tell me about it. I don't want to hear how much you spent or how you did it. Just tell me about their smile and the love they, and you, felt.
Have a wonderful start of the week!!

I'll go first...
Gave a homeless guy a couple of bucks and watched him go get a hot breakfast and coffee.
Also, let a man with a car full of kids, clearly late for school, cut in infront of a VERY long line to get to their school on time.Mikeyz206 liked this post

Being Kind is just who I am. I never think about it, I just do it. From opening the door for someone at the store down the street to letting people out in traffic. It was instilled in me at an early age to be good to people. Not everyone is going to appreciate the jester but that is on them, not me.

Guys I saw the sweetest thing today while I waited for the kids
A man was standing out in the cold and a car pulls up next to him. A old lady, sitting in the passenger seat, rolls down her window and calls him over. He walks over expecting a dollar or something... SHE GAVE HIM A HAND KNITTED BLANKET.
I can tell it was handmaid because I used to have one like that. She unrolls it and he bends down and she wraps it around him.
My heart just melted and I had the biggest smile on my face.
A simple gesture made that man's day/week/month. He is warm now because someone was kind enough to think of him.drtbear1967, Mikeyz206 liked this post

We like taking our used cloths and household stuff we don't use to Salvation Army. They seem to be the best at getting this sold and money for the needy. There's a lot of highway exit ramp pan handler with signs in our area. Same people for months and one lady has even been there a year. Never know the real needy ones. I have a couple of old people that require a nurse to check up on them daily so when it snows I plow there drive out. Changed a flat tire on a young mother and her babies car the other day in front of my house. Her husband stopped by and thanked me. That was nice.

That's very sweet of you. I always see so many men and women near the highway close to us. There's this one in particular, he's the sweetest. I've never seen him beg, he's always saying how good his life is because "he woke up and is alive". I randomly get him breakfast or make him a cup of coffee from home. He is truly a blessing to have around.

We all need to "Pull the Good Out of Each Other" on a daily basis.

Gave a man a couple of bucks then watched him to up to another man to share what little he had.
Made my heart smile so big! Now I make it my mission to give him something every time I see him.jimbosmith316 thanked for this postjimbosmith316, drtbear1967 liked this post
