** Not bc my Kids **

Bc the unorganized late nonsense every fuckin day.

I start my kids at 6am doing this shit.
One of the programs online is for my younger one to read an assigned book then take a quiz.
No book assigned at 7am. 730. 815. 915. I finally give up, tell my wife if no book is assigned by 1130, not getting done. I check again at like 1040 and there is finally one assigned (we do it, no fucking quiz available). Why is this not done sooner then last minute?

They both have to do an activity (they call it "specials") for 30 mins. They add all these links for videos they can watch/do that are 2 to 6 mins long...… Why the fuck do they not put 30 min vids if that's the expectation?

I'm literally changing it to what we do. I took them on over a mile ride today (technically P.E. right?) so that was part of their "specials" as well as a 1 minute activity listed (again why is there a 1 minute activity if you're supposed to do 30 mins?)

Can I get Tax deductions or credits for being a free 1st & 2nd grade teacher?

I'm having to play teacher to junior high kids along with my work and AO.... Parents definitely need a "I worked my ass off" tax deduction.

Imaine doing it and having to read 80% of the shit for your kid.

Biggest defense budget in the world, completely unprepared for any of this.
Most expensive Healthcare in the world, completely unprepared for any of this, & most amount of dropped coverage bc of it.

Im not, just have to vent.
I literally get my kids up at 6am, open 2 laptops, sit between them, get their shit ready that they can do on the laptops w no writing, give them breakfast, I take a shower. Make sure they are on task. wait til they are done w the first 2 or 3 subjects, have us all get out of the house for a walk, or ride (bikes/razors while I walk) come back do a couple more topics sitting between them going back and forth. Make them lunch. Sit by them and have them finish. Then P.E. (I eat) for 25-45 mins (it was 95 degrees out yesterday, and some days it will be raining)

Honestly speaking.... I love hearing about parents who do it all for their kids!
Don't know if you have heard it before or if someone has told you this recently but ..
YOU ARE DOING AN AMAZING JOB AS BEING THEIR PARENT!
I don't care what anyone tells you or what everyone else does... From what I hear, you're exactly the type of parent your kids needs. Someone who's there for them, to lift them up when they're down and puts your needs away to help them!!!


Good job!! The world needs more parents like you!

God Bless you guys. All of mine are grow but I have grandkids that are stuck in this crap. Pray it gets better soon. For everyones sanity.
 
Damn thank you bro. We have been doing everything together, but already always have most days at home with just the family bc I love & Like my Wife haha, and my kids are well behaved. I def love this time with them bc they are doing more for physical activities than they would by far in school, just wish the education part was structured more clean (if that makes sense)

Saw a woman at the grocery store parking lot. Now let me tell you, SHE WAS GOING THROUGH SOME SHIT, eyes red, face in her palms and music blasting in her Tesla.
So my son and I wrote a note and stuck it on her window, telling her that she was going to be okay and all of this will pass along with her hair looked pretty.... She smiles and wiped her tears.

We all need a reason to smile, even if it is from a complete stranger

I wish I could be doing more to help ppl right now, but due to my shoulder surgery, physically I am almost useless.
My neighbor is in his 70's and was trimming a bunch of shit like 3 weeks post surgery, so I went over and grabbed shit with just my left hand here and there, and brought it down to the road.
Last year 9 days after 2 abdominal surgeries I saved a Womans life, but all my incisions were killing me for days after that

It's not how much you do... It's your intentions that matter. Lord knows what's in your heart when you do good for others and he alone can judge you.
Seems like you're doing pretty damn well for someone who thinks they're useless... You are not.
Just grab a bag of groceries for an elderly or offer to stop cars while they cross ... It's really that simple

lmao, my twins are in first grade and when i see this common core Math, i just shake my head in disbelief! They dont teach how to "carry" anymore! Its all this long form ReRe (retard) Math.

I said to the kids "Carry the 1" and they look at me like i have 9 eyes! lol
 
Bro trust me when I tell you I feel ya! 1st and 2nd grade teacher simultaneously, & was never taught this shit. Engineers swear by it, & although I am good with real life math, I wasn't great in school w it. They get the wrong answer using common core & the right answer doing it our way though...….
I love when these sites are down, or the teacher didn't wake their ass up yet to assign shit, or they "put the wrong day" after I'm already done, uhhh bitch we start between 6 and 7 am , have the shit or it's on you.
