Nineteen bodybuilders sought the title of Ms. Olympia at the 2021 Olympia held from Oct. 7-10, 2021, in Orlando, FL. Reigning Ms. Olympia champion Andrea Shaw returned to the sport’s biggest stage to defend her crown. Her competition included 2020 Ms. Olympia runner-up Margie Martin, bronze medalist Helle Trevino, and the rest of 2020’s top six — MayLa Ash, Irene Andersen, and Monique Jones.

Despite the impressive physiques viewed by the judges, no one could best the two-time Rising Phoenix champion. Helle Trevino came closest in the prejudging as the center comparison next to Shaw. Here are the top five results:

2021 Ms. Olympia Results

[*]Andrea Shaw, $50,000
[*]Helle Trevino, $20,000
[*]Margie Martin, $10,000
[*]Mona Poursaleh, $5,000
[*]Irene Andersen, $4,000

2021 Ms. Olympia
The first callout in the Finals judging included Leah Dennie, Sheena Ohlig, MayLa Ash, Reshanna Boswell, LaDawn McDay, and Silvia Matta. Ash and Matta remained in the center of the first callout for its entire duration.

The second callout featured Nadia Capostosto, Janeen Lankowski, Irene Andersen, Michaela Aycock, and Virginia Sanchez. The broadcast team was impressed with the back-double-biceps poses from this entire callout. Ultimately, this callout filled out the middle of the scorecard.

The third callout was the rest of the field — the top four. Andrea Shaw was bumped right to the center next to Helle Trevino. Margie Martin and Mona Poursaleh joined the outer ranks of the top four. All the athletes looked supremely conditioned in this callout, but it was the separation in the glutes and hamstrings that put Shaw over the top to become a back-to-back Olympia champion.
