Have you had a mostly positve expierience with steroids, If so state how, and give some examples.
Also give examples of some of the negatives.

absolutely. greatly increased confidence - self esteem, self assertiveness - in a good way, feel better physically, encouraged to go to the gym and stay in shape now that I have actually gotten some results finally, all around - one of the 3 best things I have ever done for personal improvement.

2 thumbs up all the way. way safer than plastic surgery to have better looks - which is legal - what a crock.

oh yeah....and the sex at 37 when you are on......well I dont have to explain that to this group. :)

I voted other, Most of my expieriences have been great except some unwanted sexual side affects that eventually went away.

u get the good with the bad... i dunno, wost thing about it is the money for drugs/food, and then its time... acne, mood swings, diet, cardio are no fun... but walkin by the beach at 8% bf & lookin jacked, is fun... :D

I have to say Other. Mostly positive for me. The only neative was all of the attention I didn't expect. I'm getting used to it now though.

Considering my use falls under HRT, I have had nothing but excellect experiences since I've been on. When I first started, it was like someone turned the light on in my head or put new batteries in. For the first time, I had the drive/motivation to go and do new things, and I was thinking far more clearly than I ever had. The year before I started, I had a mediocre bonus for the year. The year I started, because of my newfound drive and energy, confidence, etc. I pulled in a large bonus which I was told, was $2000 more than what everybody else was getting. There are plenty more good experiences that I can't even begin to number and write down here.

Not many negative experiences--biggest one is everybody seems to stare--a lot. My wife gets angry sometimes because we'll go to the mall and she sees girls and sometimes even their boyfriends with them checking me out. Some girls will flirt with me outright at the cash register with my wife standing right next to me. (My wife is Brazilian, btw, so she's got a fiery temper.) The only other negatives for me is that I get really oily skin (although I don't get really bad acne), and I'm now hairy as a bear and have to shave a lot.

Totally positive. I've felt better, more energy, definitely more endurance, improved my golf game (distance, etc). Can't say I'd want to ever abandon the "effort". ;)

I'm afraid my experieces with a few of them have made staying healthier more of a challenge.

Growth Hormone thickened my uterine lining so my menstrual cycles are excessive withouth proper treatment.

DNP (not a steroid but associated with bodybuilding) decreased my kidney function and I ended up in the hospital urinating blood.

Increasing my testosterone had a few of the undesireble female side effects BUT they did resolve after 3 to 6 months. Thank God.

I've been using test on and off for over 4 years I guess. It's now hard for me to keep my levels up naturally. My bloodwork last showed I'm at 53, so I am now on HRT. We are hoping it's not a long term thing and is correctable.

Steroids increase mania in people who are easily excitable. HELLO !!!! lol Mostly those with bipolar disorders but even those who are not bipolar have (myself included) experienced alot of sleep disturbances.

Messing with the delicate endocrine system is not to be taken lightly.

Even though these things may have happened I still look forward to correcting the one's I still experience to start cycling again. Can you say "addict"? lol

So true....overall I would say positive though. I used to be a piece of shit in high school/early college. Lifting got me in with a better crowd and kept me out of jail and drugs. Then when I tried gear, it hieghtened this new drive, I quit smoking so I could lift harder, I quit various other bad habits cause it interfered with training. The bad, is when people ask about it, or when they know and make shitty coments about "at least I'm natural". I find the gear is a scapegoat for some people jelousy. That pisses me off, even without gear I'd look better cause I got willpower and drive.

Thumb Up

Had pretty much postivie experience, but I was lucky and got around a family of good people like the MODs we have here. They steered me away from coutless disasters, mishaps, and just stupid stuff when I got in the game. It is why to this day, I beleive there is no stupid quesiton, except the one not asked!!! It is good to see that so many people have positive effects from AAS, you can't tell by how the media portrays it...

Stay true to the Iron!!!

THIS IS SO TRUE !!!..........ahem......excuse me.... I mean.....this is so true haha!:D
Being serious now, yes, steroids definitely can make me a little too excitable at times and definitely can screw up my sleeping pattern. Donnie Brasco, I ain't bipolar bro but you can call me "nut burger", I don't care. :finger: Just jokes cyphoon. I respect Black Mamba's honesty(as well as others). Sleep deprivation has to be the worst for me personally. Another thing with me is my libido is either "crazy high" or just non-existent. I feel I need sex like 4 times a day, which a girl usually can't handle, thinks I am totally "sex-crazed" and that I might cheat on her because of it. When it is vice-versa, I have no libido whatsover, she thinks "is it me?". This obviously can make relationships difficult. How's that for honesty.
I obviously voted for other. More good than bad however. Great thread tool!

I put on 23 lbs in my first 2 months on and I felt great and my social life really picked up. only drawback is I did lose a bit of hair on the tren.

ive been on test and deca for 6 weeks now and i have had many friends of mine telling me how big i am getting!! that realy makes all the hard work worth it!!!!!!

I have proo's and con's. I love the way my muscles feel and look since I have been using. Out of the people that know I use them, not many respect me for it. I do know though that people dont feel like they can take advantage of me anymore because in 3 years I have put on roughly 45 lbs. :) It gives me a feeling of seld confidence and makes me feel I have accomplished something for myself. A negative though is it has taken it's toll on my cholesterol just a little...as I mentioned in another post I am starting my PCT today, and my cholesterol was 266 and HDL was 18.

Nothing like looking good, feeling good, and meeting my WIFE on mc.com.. i got a family out this gig!
