Nutrients how many should get

ok what are all the nutrients i need to build muscle and be healthy and about how many of each should i be getting per pound
 
Well for starters you should be taking a whole foods mulitvitamin and mineral. I suggest also taking a B-complex, antioxidants, cranberry extract.

As for food you need to get a wide array of helathy protein like tuna, slamon, chicken, cottage cheese, etc. Take in fiberous carbs like oatmeal, brown rice, yams, etc. And dont forget healthy fats from EFA's.

As for amounts what r u goals?
 
well im taking centrum performance vitamins but im not sure if thats all the vitamin i need and i can eat like cereal whenever im hungry and get a chance and like tunafish sandwichs stuff like that and i have to wait till like 6 so i can have diner when mom cooks so and i mean she does not like focus of like health food and stuff like that she just cooks so i mean what you think.. and my goals are i mean just get as much nutrients i can to be as healthy as possible for lifting weights and building muscle
 
You should get yourself some whey protein powder; no ifs, ands or buts. (Damn that looks weird, lol).

I know ur young and probably can't buy all the foods you need but protein powde is a must (spend 30 bucks on 6lbs or so, that should last a month or so).

Have your mom buy albacor tuna (a buck a can). Don't drink all that OJ and soda either, have her get you some crystal light or the sugar-free kool-aid. Skim milk, not whole or 2%.

Skinless/boneless chicken breats are great. Get a bunck of pounds for like 12 bucks at costco. Cook two up at night to take to school the next day.

Fonzie was right about your carbs. Have a bowl of bran cereal and a banana, then kill a protein shake before you go out for the day. It's important to eat in the am, I know it's get harder and harder rhe older you get.

If you have the extra monies, then get all the b comp, etc. If not, stick with whey, all the whey.

That's where I disagree. If you dont' have the money to buy pure whey isolate only, don't buy any whey. With supplements you get exactly what you pay for. $30 for 6lbs will most likely get you a crappy mixture of mainly whey concentrate and fillers, which not only won't help you much, but it will most likely give you candida (99% of bodybuilders have it) which will give you a whole host of other problems. Plus all the gas, bloating, etc that won't make you a happy person. BTW, that's how you know that your protein powder is quality - you get zero bloating and gas from it. The bloating and gas comes from fillers only.
If you can't afford the proper whey, stick to food. It will do you much better.

Got to TPC.com and you can get quality blends or just straight up protein for an incedible price. And there quality is choice.

ok well i would go there and check that out but its not the site you told me or go to www.tpc.com see for yourself but if i go to GNC and look for some protein powders taht i can make shakes out of are those good to get cause my bro used to take those when he was younger and when he lifted weights and he has the same body type i got and he got CUT and built i mean he was ripped like hell benching 225 15 times with ease and only weighing 140 lbs and had a 42 inch vertical but than he stopped working out but still strong as hell and than he had an accident and got accidently broke a plate glass door and cut all the way to the bone in his left leg from his knee to his ankle now he can only jump 36 inch vertical because can not use that leg good anymore

but there is a little story about what the protein shakes did along with him working out so i mean you think there any good?? if so what type should i get they got like ones for weight gain they got ones for protein i mean they got all types of powders there just dont know what ones i should get for bodybuilding

Did you even read what I said above?

And weight gainers are even worse than protein powders - they have usually very low grade of proteins with sugars, so you 'gain weight' (water and fat).

well anywhere here is a site where that you get supplements that help you grow because of the formulation of them or whatever and like just read it i think its good from what i read but they say that you dont need any other vitamin supplements besides it does that mean that i should not take

If you don't have the money for this - or it would freak out your mom if you were pounding a lot of protein shakes - you can also just drink a LOT of skim milk. When I am bulking, I drink between a half gallon and a gallon a day. I also add a bit of spenda and some vanilla extract and some powdered milk to make it taste better.

Bump the comments on tuna and other lean meats. Though at your age, the saturated fat is probably not something that you are too worried about.
 
fat is not a problem

im trying to build muscle i mean if i gain fat ill just turn that into muscle and that other stuff will help me bulk up but the problem ill have with this even gaining any of the fat or might take a while to bulk up cause i have a Really fast metabolism and a slow digestive system so i mean when i eat and take stuff takes a while to get the nutrients but i get them little by little lol
 
Fat and muscle are totaly different biological components of the human body. You cant turn one into the other. Talk your parents into buying you more milk, meat, eggs, cottage cheese........etc.

My biggest suggestion to ya is develop a meal plan with solids, the only shake ya need is PWO and thats it. Eat clean proteins and fiberous carbs. Eat every 2.5-3 hours with a solid meal. Drink plenty of water. If ya want I can post a sample plan to give ya some ideas.

yes please cause i mean i want to know everything to do cause when you tell me what to do its kinda complicated sounding so i dont need anything of that stuff except for protein powder but what powder should i get and would it make the results come faster if i got all that stuff and if so could you tell me what i need to get for them
 
well, no protein poweder and other supps wont make your resultz come faster imho. Its takes time and dedication.

As for a sample diet, here's one. This isnt for anyone in particular but it can give you an idea. Dont copy and paste it, b/c it should just be used to give ya ideas. As for carb cutoff timing, and different proteins, etc. That would take sitting down and developing one for ya.

that seems kinda exp

ok well thats alot to keep up with on that eating play and well that seems like it costs alot. so im gonna take the pills from heightmax and get shakes after finding out waht one would be the best and just eat whatever i can around the house like tuna fish chicken and drink skim milk
