Rotator cuff issues and some exercises to try

Okay, so I am an idiot. I use to work for a water company and let 5 gallon water bottles drop from about 8 feet and fall full force to prove my manhood. My rotator cuffs are screwed, with the right being the worst by far as this was my dominant hand. I can hardly do incline bench presses at all. My shoulders feel like they are going to pop out of socket. I have been stretching preworkout and that seems to help, but it still hurts. Let me know some exercise you guys do that have rotator cuff problems for Chest and also military presses as they suck just as much.

have you tried switching from barbells to dumbells and concentrate more on the mind muscle connection and the contraction of the muscle itself while reducing the weight? i stopped lifting wtih my ego a long time ago and have made some of the best gains ever

Oh Yeah. I have about a thousand dollars worth of dumbells. I should have bought some power blocks or something. I don't use heavy weights on inclines and do concentrate on the contraction. The dumbells helped, but it still hurts. I do some flyes but they seem to be tought as well.

not a whole lot to do in my experience. Either hit incline every other week giving yourself some rest time or grit your teeth. Have you been to the doc. to see if you have anything bad going on in there? I have many prior shoulder injuries from sports and i still cant go heavy on barbells, 6+ years later. Good luck man i have to do nothing but dumbells if going heavy.

Thanks. I am pretty sure there are some structural issues. My range of motion is not too great. I also take Tae Kwon Do and I don't think the banging of my joints is helping. Push ups are loads of fun too. I am looking at possible sinus surgery soon, so who knows maybe the shoulder next. Hey I have one nonvital organ left (kidney.) Why not become the bionic man.
