first of all bro.. i can appreciate a new found idea for new exercises... new ways to stimulate the same muscle groups.. new 'compound' motions to get the job done....
but listen.. we used to fuck with 'malic' b/c to be honest he used to say some wild shit... he was 'young' and for some reason had this obsession with over weight 'grips'... or like major forearm workouts... it was wierd... just do a search or two.. you'll understand...
but when it comes to doing what YOU are doing.... it can't be a normal motion to get shit done.... seriously... it cannot be a normal motion to get the job done....
you said you have to adjust etc, to make sure it feels right...
well besides all the sarcasm and bullshit... let's get real here... the bottom line is this.... if you are about to do an exercise that causes you to change the 'range of motion' to make you feel comfortable ... then it's wrong...
but the question is this... do you know why? .... goes back to the old saying.. if it's too heavy to keep your form 'correct', then you are going to heavy.... DO NOT adjust your exercises to 'work for you' if the form is wrong.... no matter how 'creative' it is.... it's still wrong..
so i'm not saying that what you're doing is wrong... what i'm saying is this.... if what you're doing isn't ''right", then do it the correct way.... and get your gains the same way we all do.. the right way.... if what you are doing IS correct, then you need to have the right spotter to make sure you don't hurt yourself when you are at complete 'failure' .... positive or negative... make sure you are protected, or else you WILL injure yourself...
got me bro? .. hope that helps.... but all 'joking' aside.. .make sure you are doing exercises that are proven to work... don't always 'make shit up' to.... well to re-invent the wheel.. there's no reason too... just get done WHAT NEEDS TO GET DONE! ...
just my .02 bro..
peace.
