    Default Stomach Acid

For a while a couple of months ago, I was having to take some OTC omeprazole to combat some overproduction of stomach acid because when I ate something, I would get awful heartburn and it would also make me sick to my stomach, oh and constant churning of the stomach which made a lot of gas that I constantly burped up--not exactly helpful when you're trying to bulk. Once I had figured out what was going on and took this stuff I was finally able to eat like I used to, but in the last couple of months, the overproduction of acid has suddenly seemingly stopped out of the blue. I found that out when I took an omeprazole pill and it gave me some stomach pain in an hour which it hadn't before. I found I was able to continue to eat after not taking it. I'm still wondering what caused the overproduction in the first place and then why it stopped suddenly. I was literally on omeprazole for about 3 months straight when I was using it. If anything right now, my appetite is much stronger than it was. Anyone have strange stomach stuff like this?

yeah, I have acid reflux real bad
seems to be worse when I'm on cycle... anadrol just fucks my stomach up all together-that is out of the equation

also, seems that tren tends to mess up my stomach but not as bad-prilosec tends to help that though

Reflux is caused by overproduction of hydrochloric acid in the tummy bro. Omeprazole just shuts down the pumps so to speak. Maybe you had an ulcer or like my wife a "raw spot" in your stomach and keeping the acid down fixed that. Nexium is know to fix the erosion of the reflux in the esophogus and actually fix ulcers to some degree. You may have had h pilori and it may have gone away as well. I have horrible reflux and it makes me vomit sometimes. It also effects asthma because it drains in your bronchial tubes. The cramping is a common side effect by the way.

My point in hindsight, was that prilosec otc shouldn't actually fix the problem but control it. Nexium will fix it.

Ive come to realize, heartburn is not caused by too much acid, its caused by lack of enough acid.. Take digestive enzymes and the heartburn will go away. Trust me.

If that is the case, then why did taking the Prilosec make it stop?

I also don't have a gall bladder so taking bile may help. It is a good point. Ive read vinegar will help reflux too.

same here Jtunderdog. I've had ongoing issues with acid refulx since mine was taken out about 10 years ago. Seems orals, and tren effect mine the most. Prilosec usually helps control it while I'm on the sauce.

Yep bro. If I don't take something certain things kill me. The scariest thing is that I have thrown up grease in my sleep and aspirated it twice now. I have asthma and my reflux makes it worse. Makes you wonder where all this stems from. I know it is the way we eat but isn't it odd that people have just really started having these problems in the last 15 years or so. Just a thought.
