Sounds like I should be eating asparagus, especially for controlling hypoglycemia. So how do you prepare and use it? I have never eaten asparagus in my life, believe it or not.

Well Korea

Researchers at the Institute of Medical Science and Jeju National University in Korea. The amino acids and minerals found in asparagus extract may alleviate alcohol hangover and protect liver cells against toxins, according to a study in the Journal of Food Science, published by the Institute of Food Technologists. "Cellular toxicities were significantly alleviated in response to treatment with the extracts of asparagus leaves and shoots," said lead researcher B.Y. Kim, in a news release from the Institute of Food Technologists. "These results provide evidence of how the biological functions of asparagus can help alleviate alcohol hangover and protect liver cells. "Asparagus is also a good source of folic acid, potassium, fiber, vitamin B6, vitamins A and C and thiamin, according to the Michigan Asparagus Advisory Board.

well, i like it in my meatloaf saudades. But if i was to make it as a side.... Just steam it bro. cut off the ends (where its hard), and use the rest.

When you go to the grocery store, go to the cook wear isle. Check out the stuff for steaming veggies. You'll see a round thing that collapses. Those are a great way to steam your veggies. What you do is put about a half cup of water at the bottom of a pan. Then you take that disk and it will open up to the size of the pan. the veggies dont want to sit in the water (makes them squishy). The veggies should sit nicely on top of the metal disk outside of the water.

Then just turn on the stove brother, and let them cook. I have no idea how long... just pick on out and when its nice and kinda krispy, done... you wait to long they will get mooshie (not ideal).

oh!! and one more thing. This really will gross out who ever is blowing you, but try drinking the water after you steam the veggies. Its like instant fiber (you will poop within 20 minutes) and instant nutrients. But your spirm/ pee will be smelling awful for the rest of the day.

^^Yea im gud on dat one bro lol.....id throw up in about 30 secs before i get to shit in that 20 mins lol
