Just started doing dumbell pullovers

Finally started doing these, bc my chest never grows, hopefully this really helps the seperation and growth.... What do you guys think?
 
Love db pullovers, i try to get them in at least every other week, when I was younger I couldn't do em cause they hurt my shoulders real bad but I kept with it at a low weight and now I can do em with 120s and that's a great way to end a good chest day.
 
cool, Im not doing crazy weight yet, just 55s at the end of a lonnnnnng chest day , I get a head rush from them so I need to ease into it a bit.
 
yea, i dont usually go over 90s, like em at the end of a workout as well, seem to get a great stretch
 
its gonna hit your lats no matter what, the more your arm bends the more the weight will go to your lats and back, you can also do the barbell pullover and it is great for hitting the lats, i just concentrate real hard on keeping my arms straight as possible and flex my chest hard as i can at the top of the lift
 
Hey Metal, try do uneven push ups and explosive type push ups where you start on the ground and push yourself up and onto a box or chair and then back down. That'd give you a nice change as well
 
I can't do these... always feels like I'm doing something wrong, so I don't bother trying anymore. I stick to benching in the smith, dumbbell presses (flat and/or incline bench), dumbbell flyes (flat and/or incline bench), cable crossovers, hammer strength machine (sometimes, not always) and push ups. Then again, I'm a girl and I do have that line of separation, but I'm not trying to build huge pecs so I think I'm okay not having them in my routine.
 
I have never seen a girl at any of the gyms ive been to on cable cross overs, but than I again I have only seen them on the bench a handfull of times

There's one hardcore girl where I go that seems to be much like steph, at least from what I envision her being like in the gym. This girl does 21's with dumbbell curls and all that shit you'd never think to see a female do. She's not muscular, but she's got a killer hard body with a really nice ass lol
 
Remember, these were in theory to raise the sternum and expand the rib cage besides the obvious muscular work. Metal, we had conversations about this remember? These in DB form have been a staple of mine since I was a teenager. Make sure you are breathing in deep as you go back and exhale as you complete the movement.
 
ive tried myself to focus on chest with these, i can only isolate my lats. maybe im doing something wrong as well.......

its been working for me bro.

you could also try switching up the mid, stretch and squeeze movements and hit them in diffrent orders for a shock.

i like starting some times with heavy flat dumbell flies. then move to a pressing movement then a dumbell. Just an idea.

Former I totally forget bro, so please reiterate what you had told me bro!
I really want to see some improvements in my chest and we all know I push enough weight consistantly and a long enough duration to halt better results than what I have
