post workout carbs

from my understanding you have a window of about 20 minutes after your workout to get in simple carbs to replenish what you have burned...

as for the whole eating carbs late at night before you go to bed, I think that's over rated unless you are getting ready for a contest
 
I always have them. Especially now that I'm taking insulin. PWO carbs replenish glycogen stores which is the first step in recovering from a workout.
