I used it today for tge first time and it felt great. It didn't just hit the lower pecs but the entire chest, even more so than flat bench press. Just curious if any of you used it. If not give it a try, you will like it.

I've never done decline bench before. Shit I always bitch about a lagging chest lol

If my gym had it, I'd use it, but unfortunately we don't so I'm stuck using the decline barbell press or dumbbell press

after watching Blood and Guts, i have a new understanding of how the dec bench can help...i have bad shoulder from flat benching and was looking for an alternative...unfortunately dec benching sucks for me and i don't relieve my shoulder pain...my gym only has hammer inclined and no hammer dec or i'd use it...this upcoming week i'm either doing the seated vertical machine bench press or weighted dips as my primary mass movement before moving on to inclines and then flyes...gotta keep searching til i find what my body likes

Would putting a couple 45 plates under a plate loaded bench to make it decline be as effective? My gym doesn't have hammer anything...

hs declines are the best to get alot of blood to the pecs i usually do them after i do decline dumbells to give give me that extra pump

I never have liked DC bench press. Just never did anything for me but hurt my shoulders. Dips, cable crossovers, and pec deck flies with the seat all the way up work WAY better for me. Its been said a million times, every ones body is diff and you have to find what works best for you.

Yeah I understand what your saying zeus, but if you have a decline hammer strength machine at your gym you should try it at the end of your workout one time. It actually works my entire chest better than flat bench exercises. Not sure why but I've become a fan.

Zeus is right everyone is different in many ways. Some people respond to certain things other's do not. I personally like all hammer strength machines, im old so I use more machines, but hell I just got 365 up on hammer strength flat press, a pr for me. Im 50 yrs old. Years ago there was no Hammer strength, just universal machine, remember that one
