Default How many train the brachioradialis muscle?

How many of you target this with hammer curls and reverse curls. I started maybe a year ago and I've noticed a substantial increase in my arm size due to it. It also looks really cool when it's well developed. Standing relaxed, the big muscle on the top of the forearm goes over the elbow and sticks out above the elbow on the outside of the arm between the bicep and tricep. I've found you have to do the exercises very strict to hit the muscle.

I always do the same number of hammer type sets as I do for palms up exercises.

Kai Greene has a great video on hand position when hitting this, I forget which one it is though. You can really see how it affects which muscle will be targeted visually in his video. I'll try and find it...

    Here is the video:

Starts at 2:12-6:37 is the forearm part of it.

But I think 3:25-3:45 is what you are interested in...

I really like reverse curls. I actually stay away from free weight hammer curls since its hard for me not to get caught up with the weight. I like doing rope cable curls

Always incorporate them in. I love doing hammer curls with a rope.

Seriously, I do heavy hammers and reverse curls. I also do a lot of reps for forearms in general. I'll hold a dumbbell straight down and curl the weight towards my body for 25 reps (like a normal wrist curl) then 25 reps with the weight going away from my body (like I'm trying to make the back of my hand touch my arm).
