Who does there deads with one hand reversed. I guess thats just something you learn early on in high school. I wasn't athletically inclined in school so I figured it out for myself. I've tried, but it's just so awkward.

Deadlifting with one hand over and one hand under only makes sense if you're a powerlifter or strongman and not allowed to use straps IMHO.
If you're a bodybuilder, you place unnecessary stress on the bicep of the underhand grip arm. Too many injuries happen this way for me to chance it.
I use VersaGrip's for all my back exercises, so grip is never a problem, and in addition to the injury risk, I agreee with you that double overhand just feels more natural.

I totaly agree with you. Only power liters and strongmen should use the over under grip. Us BB are doing this movement for adding muscle, not to max out during a cmpetition....
