another BP question

this is weird

I just started cyle (test and deca) a week ago-I was off for about 9 months...BP was always good after about 3 months of being off

now after only 1 week of being on between the hours of 2pm and 7 pm it's high 150/100 with a resting heart rate of about 100

at first I thought it was from the sinus medicine that I was taking not the case, then I thought it was from lifting not the case again

only had two small cups of coffee today

any ideas?

Typically, when someone starts AAS for the first time, bp will increase a lot due to the increase in rbc. If you were off for that long, I'd say that's why you're seeing the higher bp. The body gets used to it after a while so in long time users, their bp normalizes. My own bp increased when I started HRT, and then when I did my first large cycle a few years ago, I had around 170/100 for a short period of time. That finally came down after a month, and even now on higher cycles (since I'm never really off) my bp has been at most just borderline under 140/90 without bp meds.

thanks for the reply BigZ, I was wondering the same thing myself as to whether this is a body reaction kinda like test flu-I wouldn't think after a week that would cause the hemocrit and the RBC to kick up that much for long esters

I'm wondering if my sinuses have any effect on it? pollen is stupid high

keep getting light headed and slight headache

trying a product called Cardotine it's gotten good reviews so I figure I'll give it a go

Mine does the same thing. It'll stay pretty high for a few weeks upon starting even something new, then taper back down after a bit. I believe it's largely the increase in your RBC's as well brother. But, if you're like me and have a high blood pressure anyway, AAS will run it way up. Especially higher doses.

I've dealt with high BP for several years but that was because I never came off, blast and cruise

in one week it can kick up the RBC?

Oh Yeah!! I usually run a Blood Count after a week or 2 to make sure the gear is good to go if I've never used it.

what sinus mediation did you use? and how long ago was it that you took it and your BP was high.

150/100 is pretty high, to be honesty your diastolic is stage 2 hypertension. i wouldnt want that bp for longer than a few hours personally, screw having it for weeks.

sinus medicine was Claritin D, what I notice is that when I use to blast and cruise for about 5 years it was the same issue...high for about 5-7 hours a day then fine the rest of the time

who knows, my father in law has blood pressure that has been over 140/90 his whole life and he's over 70 no health problems

well the pseudophed in your sinus medication could do it if it was i would say with in 24 hours.
not sure about the 5-7 hour range of high bp???

and 140/90 is not good, he may be fine now and for the last 70 years but i would bet if its been uncontrolled that long CHF and/or kidney failure is soon to follow

yeah I agree with you, but all of the tests that they have ever ran on him come back good, guess he's just a freak???

this is not something that is common though
