Bodybuilding and Drug Testing...

With the federal government having a hard on for steroids and performance enhancing drugs, do you think they will ever venture into the world of professional bodybuilding? If they would, could you imagine the shit storm that would ensue after that? I'm curious why they haven't went this route already and have targeted MLB, NFL primarily. It's almost like they want to get involved, but don't want to really go full force into it

I'm pretty sure they use to test the pros, i know the Mr Olympia was touted as drug free for a long time lol

There are lots of way around tests, but I've always heard of top shows being drug tested as well

Dude the NFL and MLB testing is an absolute joke. In fact the NFL players schedule their own tests haha! The only athletes that are most definitely tested legitimately, randomly, and effectively are our olympic athletes. That's one of the reasons our oly lifters are so far behind Russian, China, and mid east countries.

I think it's all a joke. I strongly believe the gov't should stay out of this shit. This is entertainment and these athletes make a lot of money doing this, IMO the publicity that steroids are getting is only heightening the interest kids have. Everyone knows they've been around, are around, and will be around so why make such a fuss about it and make people curious about them who otherwise may never want to know anything about them?

Forget testing, how about the indicting? I'm surprised that they haven't thrown every single top pro bb'er in jail at this point considering the way they went after MLB like a witch hunt. I would almost bet that they know if they try it, everyone would make so much fuss that they would have to legalize steroids.
