Arginine ornithine lysine

2 part question.

When is the best time to consume Arginine ornithine lysine? I have been taking Arginine ornithine lysine before bed bedtime, just not sure if it's the right time.

I'm taking 750 mg tablet of GABA 1 hr before workout, Leucine powder drink immediately after workout and a protein drink 30 min later. Ive been on a low carb diet (lots of protien), since the first of the year and dropped from 205 to 196. At 59 I'm looking to bulk up more in the chest, hitting the gym 5 days a week, mixing it up between chest and arms but not seeing the size. Currently benching 280lbs 3x at final set since the new year. I know age is a factor but is there something out of balance and out of timing in my supplements that I can change to gain some size? Or are there BCCAs I can substite that would be better for me to help meet my goal.

I"m not too familiar on the specific supplement you're talking about. But im sure someone else can chime in.

I will move this into the proper forum where it will be seen, this was posted in Article forum, so not many people may have seen it brutha

I am familiar with this Tri Amino sequence. I used to take it.
Are you taking individual tabs or a tri amino complex?

I advise you take it 30 minutes prior to a workout, this combo works very well with Glutamine.

The GABA is one I have taken for years and I still do. I take 2 grams at bedtime or 30 min prior.

The leucine is a tricky amino, its awesome if dosed properly and works great with plenty of protein but I over did mine and it caused me issues. Im sure you can find more info on it than what im giving.

You didn't give your age and that can affect your metabolism. Whats your diet like? Calorie uptake? If your eating the rights foods why are you supplementing aminos? All the aminos-except GABA can be found in a good diet in plentiful amounts.

Just trying to help ya

FYI-Taking any nutrient, including amino acids, in supplement form can cause side effects. Therefore, if you choose to take arginine, ornithine or lysine in supplement form, consult your physician first. If you have a herpes viral infection, avoid arginine, as it may cause the virus to multiply, according to MedlinePlus.com. If you are taking medication to lower blood pressure, arginine may enhance its effects and cause it to go to low. Pregnant women and schizophrenics are advised to avoid both arginine and ornithine.

take your GABA before bed it has a calming effecting which is why drugs that potentiate GABA cause you to be "tired"
the others IMO just take whenever you want but i try to take mine on an empty stomach
