Congratualtions to Mens Physique Winner Andre Ferguson who brought a physique package even a hardcore bodybuilding fan can appreciate!
Mens IFBB Physiques are something I can possibly get behind with the amount of muscle and aesthetics they've been presenting, however the board shorts have got to go as we need to see those legs! I am not calling for posing trunks, but I think a higher cut spandex type short similar to what you see some mma guys wearing would benefit this class of athlete and bring more of us old school bodybuilders around. Long story short, we need to see those quads even if through fitting tight shorts as i can't behind a beautiful upper body and a neglected lower body! I wanna see the total physique

Anyone else have an opinion on the mens physique class switching to the tight fitting spandex shorts you see some mma fighters wearing? It would make a world of difference in my humble opinion! Board shorts aren't cutting it! "dude!" lmao

Since my car accident back in '09, I haven't been able to do any heavy training on my quads or hams, so no comment here lol

Yeah, I never dug the board shorts - this is still a physique competition, not a day at the beach. The word physique applies to entire body. If they want to continue covering up their legs, maybe they should call it upper body...

I have been seeing a lot of hard work and dedication in the mens physique packages of late, and i would like to see that their lower body is also being hit and think that it too should be judged on!

Agreed! His calves aren't terribly promising, but he may just have high insertions and tree stumps hanging out upstairs, but we won't know with those damn board shorts!
