In an attempt to somehow try and make my biceps more impressive I have came up with the idea that I will do 5 sets of concentration curls with a 25lb dumbbell at home every night before I shower other than my actually arm day.

Has anyone done this type of thing before? I have heard people like Don Long recommend doing a few sets of incline presses or pull ups at the end of each workout, so I kind of took that and spun it into what I want to try.

yes bro, i have done it with legs back when i had a nerve issue, and would slam quads 3 times per week sometimes 4, which was every workout as i only trained 3-4 days a week, and yes it helped tremendously bring my quad back to normal size after atrophy set in from a year of dead muscle. and today its normal, so yeah ive shock trained muscles into responsding before

Funny you say that. At first I was going to.say no way... but my warm up is 2 sets of 20 reps on wide grip upright rows with 40-50lbs and then 2 sets of side laterals of 20-25 reps with 10lbs every day I train... and my shoulders are my most developed bodypart. I train calves almost every training day with 2 exercises and 3 sets per exercise and they have grown tremendously

Years ago I trained calves every single workout other than legs and I put maximal effort into them, they blew up to over 19.25 inches and were nasty. Then one day I said well that was easy i'll just do that when I want big calves again.... now 10 years later I've never achieved anything near that again.

eh. I don't think anyone can say 100% yes or no. If someone were a natty person, I would probably say to steer away from that, but non natty individuals don't have that limitation, and don't overtrain a muscle group nearly as easy.

OP. You could always try the Rich Piana 100-rep feeder sets of dumbell curls right before bed. Some people think it is a gimmick, but you might want to try them using a 10-15 lb dumbell to see if it works for you.

I work calves every workout day alternating between standing calf machine and seated calf machine. I also work forearms every day using different exercises. I I have made some great gains on those hard to develop muscle groups.

Ever heard of a guy named Platz? Of course you have, that guy trained legs damn near everyday!

thats a good refrence man.

he did train them what we would call excessively i also think it stands to reason f you train a muscle every day it will grow more than usual.

Rich Piana uses Synthol, next you will tell me Barry Bonds used steroids

well after 5 days of it and i had my regular arm workout and i'll say the pump was way better than normal and the mind muscle connection was on point. I have never really been able to "flex" and feel my biceps during a set always got pumped but just couldn't feel it, but this seems to make that alot better.

So i'll give it a month or so and see how it goes.

Just started rich pianas feeder workout before bed:

15lb Dumbbells

100skull crushers superset with 60 hammer curls

3 sets of each no rest in between. My arms are on fire after the workout I'll let you guys know if I see any significant growth.
