First self injection?

Ladies and men, What did you think or feel before giving yourself your first intramuscular injection? đź’‰
Where you scard or nervice?
If you had any fear or nerviceness , how did you over come it? Or did you just MAN UP or WOMAN UP?
In what muscles do you like to do your injections?
What stories do you have about your first self intramuscular injection?
Any stories of your spouse's, partner, friends first intramuscular injections?
 
Man I was scared shit, I don’t like needles so I had my girl do it. But our schedules didn’t meet up so I had to do it. I just man up and did it but now am just nervous every time I do it. For locations are my butt, should,stomach and my lats if am pin ed.

I won’t lie, I chickened out the first day. I bet my heart rate was 160 when I did it. Quads. And I was surprised it didn’t hurt much. But I was nervous about hitting anywhere else so they whole cycle was done in the right quad. First time I hit a nerve I thought I’d screwed up bad

What size needles do you guys use?
I've read that a lot of people use slin syringes to pin.
Does any of you guys use 25g x1" needles? (orange)
 
I remember I pulled the inch and half needle outta its sheath like Excalibur. Lol and.....I couldn’t....just nope. Next day I manned the F up after a bit of hazing from my buddies.

My first test shot I was nervous as helI had no one to give it to me. I told myself what the hell got to do it and pinned myself. After first time I found it wasn't that bad. Problem is I don't pin quickly. To me once I pierced the skin didn't bother me.

I use 1" long 23 ga needle for my test.
For IGF-1 Lr3 I use 1/2" 30 ga needle.
 
I thought of having to but bigger clothes and people notice I was on roids! Lol
I already had IV used some junk in early life so the pin was nothing

I use 25ga 5/8" everywhere

when I began using I was dating a nurse, but like a dumb ass I broke up w her leaving me to inject alone (kinda like the first time I had sex LOL) but she taught me well, IIRC I just swabed the area and punched that muther in, it wasnt bad at all. But that was in the mid 80's and I've done it hundreds of times now, not really my fav thing to do but like the result

You be fine, its normal to be nervous, once u do it a few times it becomes pretty easy. I am pretty fearless when it comes to injections anywhere but quads can be rough, so can delts. Calves can be either good (cuz easy access) or bad as in gushing bleeding, if they swell they look pretty cool :)

PS I usually alternate 4 sights, both glutes and both triceps
