Default Your body can use more protein!!

A lot of people are still scared of protein powder as if it’s some mass muscle gainer.-But here’s the thing; it’s literally just a source of protein. No different really to chicken, beef, tofu or any of the other sources you use. It’s not going to magically enhance muscle growth.-It’s not for everyone. Certainly not for the “cleaning eating” freaks. But it is a convenient & cost-effective way to hit your protein target.-Some will prefer to get their protein from whole foods which might be more filling. Others might require protein powder as a tool to keep them on track.-Either way, it’s down to YOUR preferences... just don’t fear it! There are plenty of “clean” plant-based protein powders that can assist in achieving your goal if you don’t want to touch whey or casein

Plant protein... gag.. gag.. for whatever reason, I can't stand the plant-based protein I've tried. I don't know what it is, it just does not agree with me.

Have to agree, protein as a whole will help you in more ways than one. It keeps you feeling full/satisfied and reduces cravings so it can help you lose weight. If you're trying to gain any lean mass at all, then you need to increase your intake. Once you've gained some lean mass, again, that will help you burn fat and lose weight if that's what you're after. I finally convinced my wife that it was a good thing, and so now she has a scoop of protein daily. She says that her hair and nails have also improved besides helping her reduce sugar intake.

I love vegetables, but when it comes to protein, I just want the one of animal origin.

My wife is from Brazil, and they loooove their barbecue. I've fallen in love with it, too. Would never want to give that up. That said, there's something to be had for the regular staple of beans and rice. You get protein completed by the carb in the rice, and it's a good rib-sticking meal. Brazilian feijão or feijoada -- soo good!

I cannot even stand the smell of plant protein much less the taste. Ughhh.
